Warner Connects NH Food Pantry and Resource Center
Pantry #10340
Warner Connects NH is a non-profit that provides food, clothing and other related resources to 14 NH towns. The mission of WCNH is to improve the health and well-being of area residents in need by providing access to healthy foods, nutritional education and related resources. For our wish list of food donations please visit WCNH's Facebook page.
Please notify us before making a delivery. We have volunteers who can meet during off hours or other arrangements can be made. Donations of very perishable produce (lettuce, etc.) are appreciated at the beginning of the week so it can be distributed during panty hours as quickly as possible.
If you are in need of the WCNH's services please visit the food pantry during posted hours, or call us at 603-456-2053. Pantry hours are Mondays thru Thursdays, 11:00-1:00. Monetary donations may be mailed to Warner Connects NH, PO Box 402, Warner NH, 03278. Food donations may be made during pantry hours. (In season) clothing donations are accepted at the Family Closet Thrift Boutique at the same location on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 10:00am and 4:00pm. All proceeds from the thrift store support the food pantry.
ProducePedia
ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
