Our Neighbors Table – Amesbury Market

Our Neighbors' Table (ONT) is committed to creating regional food security and universal food access across the Lower Merrimack Valley. We accomplish this by working directly with households to build food security. Our innovative programs are centered on what our guests tell us they need most - consistent, reliable access to fresh food, served with respect and dignity. ONT's unique grocery program operates in an open market shopping model that provides each guest with variety, privacy and dignity, while our integrated markets support Councils on Aging in several local communities. ONT operates two free grocery stores– one in Amesbury (194 Main Street) and Salisbury (114 Bridge Rd.) that serve over 800 families weekly. ONT is committed to providing providing fresh, healthy food to local families which includes milk, eggs, proteins, fruit and vegetables.

State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
