We will come to you with one of our refrigerated straight trucks or semi's to pick up any size donation in a timely fashion. We accept almost anything, canned goods, dry goods, refrigerated-frozen goods, produce, institution packaged or grocer packed, damaged, bulk goods, personal hygiene products, short dated items and surplus of all kinds.
Ruby's Pantry, a 501c3 non-profit organization, was formed in 2003 to provide children, families, and seniors with quality nutritious food and fresh produce. We distribute food through churches, community centers, armories and other organizations. There are no income requirements and we turn no one away.
This simply would not be possible without people like you and organizations like yours who have been beside us since day one. Through those efforts we may serve up to 1 million pounds of food to approximately 8,000 families per month through 32 hosted distribution sites with a volunteer force of about 4,000 people.
We receive no federal, state, county funds, grants or government commodities to support our mission. That is why we need your help!

ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
