In April of 2022, Cabrini Immigrant Services Food Pantry relocated from the Lower East Side to the Upper West Side. We are very proud to have served the Chinatown community faithfully for twenty years. By the end, we were providing over thirty pounds of healthy food to approximately a thousand clients every month. We are especially proud of the fact that our bags were comprised primarily of fresh produce.
The Cabrini Immigrant Services is now operating in collaboration with Church of the Good Shepherd to serve the Inwood and Washington Heights community. Currently, the pantry is open to the public from 7:30-9 AM on Saturdays. We provide approximately 200 bags of food to a clientele that consists primarily of Dominican families, and we are committed to serving as an access point for social services into the community. We are always looking for partners to help us provide nutritious, culturally-sensitive food to our neighbors.

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
