Montezuma Community Dinner and Mobile Food Pantry

Catholic Charities Mobile Food unit comes once a month in Montezuma. We average 100 people fed - this is a very poverty stricken community, and several have no transportation to get to other towns. We start distributing at 4:30 p.m. on the 4th Thursday of every month, except November. Due to Thanksgiving, it is on the 3rd Thursday that month.

State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
