We are located in the Clara F. Gunn Center in Reidsville where we assist uninsured and underserved patients within Rockingham County. Through one of our programs "Care Connect" we link patients to primary care, specialty care, dental care and provide food assistance through our new food market. We serve residents of The New Reidsville Housing Authority, patients of Cone Health and Care Connect and the Annie Penn Cancer Center. We accept referrals from partner agencies .When our patients enroll in our services we identify any needs they may have besides the medical component. Through this tool, we can make the appropriate referrals for the patient and assist however we can. Donations of the American Heart Association preferred food list, we need organic, sodium free or low sodium canned food, whole grain pasta and rice, whole wheat bread and crackers, canned tuna and gluten free products. Healthy snacks, fresh produce and dairy products. Non food items like women's toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, diapers, baby wipes, food and formula are more than welcome as well.

ProducePedia
ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
