The Modesto Love Center (Modesto Victory Life Center Foursquare church)
Pantry #10437
We are a food Pantry with two programs. One program runs on donations and volunteers with a small grant from ESFP. This programs serves anyone living in Stanislaus county a monthly box of food. Anything we are donated gets handed out twice a week, this includes toiletries and other misc. items that may have been donated. The only requirement is a photo Id and proof of address (we do serve homeless if they do not have proof of address. The food box is just slightly different). We have a second program that is federally funded and serves a monthly box of food to Seniors only. For this program we operate in Stanislaus, Merced, San Joaquin, Madera and Fresno counties. When we receive large donations, we will serve to both programs. We gladly accept all donations, however we do have a great need for fresh healthy foods. We also gladly accept cash donations to purchase additional items that are of need.

Suite F
We accept donations Mon - Thurs 8 am to 4:30 pm and Fridays 8 am to 2 pm. Speak with Dave or Jeff. We can arrange for picking up the food from you if you would like, however we ask this is limited to larger donations due to the high cost of fuel for our trucks.
ProducePedia
ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
