Big Walnut Friends Who Share

Big Walnut Friends who share is a 501c3 organization serving the residents of the Big Walnut School District. We distribute food, toiletries, clothing and household furnishings free of charge to persons-in-need. We had over 2100 client visits in 2022 with food, holiday meal boxes, back-to-school backpacks and weekly nonperishable food. We appreciate receiving fresh food that can supplement the nonperishable food we are able to stock.

We appreciate receiving items close to 9 am on open days so that we can distribute it to clients immediately. Drop offs also accepted the 2nd & 4th Tuesday evenings 6:30 to 8 pm.

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
