Our food bank is one of the services that the New Creation Outreach Center provides. We have been fortunate enough to serve as many as two hundred families in the Bedford Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn by donating food on a weekly basis. Our program has also provided meals for the community on Thanksgiving Day. We would love to provide balanced and healthy food choices for the families that we serve. Our outreach program also provides school supplies for students, an annual holiday toy drive, a coat drive for the winter, a toiletry drive for a local substance recovery program, and we are looking to revive our after-school center as well.

Want an email when this food pantry updates their hours or other information?
We prefer to receive donations on Friday and distribute on Saturday. Our location is sufficient for all food deliveries. Please call us in advance if you are unable to deliver at our preferred time window so that we can make other arrangements.
We are flexible as far as acquiring the the food. If you are able to deliver food to our location, we would be happy to set up a delivery date and time. All we ask is that if you are unable to make a delivery, please inform us as early as possible so that we have time to arrange for a pick-up.
ProducePedia
ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
