North Raleigh Ministries approaches food insecurity in our community through a person-centered approach that is tailored to meet the individual needs of those we serve. We focus on providing a variety of fresh and nutritious foods while offering each individual the opportunity to engage in additional support. We truly appreciate fresh produce as it is one of our most requested items from our clients. All of the fresh produce donated to us will go directly to our Crisis Pantry clients and those enrolled in our Coaching and Pastoral Care programs. We serve North Raleigh residents in the following zip codes: 27604. 27609, 27612, 27613.
27614, 27615, and 27616. Services are available in English and Spanish.
We can coordinate food drop offs outside of our donation hours, as long as it is still within our operation hours. To schedule a drop off outside of these hours, please contact us beforehand.
For ease of donation drop off, especially of large quantities, please contact us prior to coming to donate.

ProducePedia
ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
