Real Life Center

The Real Life Center is a food pantry serving individuals and families of all ages living in Coweta and Fayette Counties in Georgia. Each week, approximately 200 households rely on our pantry for food assistance, household essentials, and toiletries, and in 2025 alone, we distributed more than 732,000 pounds of food, a number we expect to grow this year. We are committed to welcoming everyone with dignity and do not discriminate in the services we provide. In addition to our pantry services, we operate an expanding Backpack Buddies program, through which we deliver bags of food to children in 10 local schools who have been identified by school counselors as experiencing food insecurity. We value healthy, nutritious food and greatly appreciate donations of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with household items and toiletries that help meet essential daily needs.

State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
