We are a Foodnet site, meaning we are part of a network of sites in Lincoln that rely primarily on donations of near or just past expiration food from grocery stores and restaurants. We are open every Wednesday evening for people to shop donated food to best meet their household's needs. Our guests come from a variety of backgrounds, but many of them are working poor. We can always give away fresh any produce and eggs we receive. Any leftovers make their way to other sites for distribution.

We have limited refrigerator space, so please contact us if food needs to be refrigerated to ensure we have room. You may also come near the end of the donation window. Our serving time begins at 5:30 p.m. You may contact other Foodnet sites on other days of the week.
Because we serve on Wednesdays, it's helpful if food is dropped off that day. We can receive food at our main doors from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. We may be able to arrange other drop-off times depending upon space. We have limited refrigerator space available.

ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
