Every veggie makes a difference!
By now you’ve probably seen the images of long lines of cars at food banks. More people are turning to their local food pantry to help put food on the table, and the emergency food supply system is stressed. AmpleHarvest.org is a non-profit organization that makes it easy for gardeners to donate fresh produce to local food pantries.
Gardeners can help!
Every extra tomato, pepper, bundle of herbs can be donated to your local food pantry. By making donations of fresh produce to your local food pantry, you can be part of the solution. Help increase the health of people in your neighborhood. All you have to do is find the food pantry nearest you, then deliver your produce to the pantry.
