Camden County College Marketplace Food Pantry

Hunger and food insecurity are realities everywhere – even on college campuses. This problem has prompted many campuses to establish food pantries to help students in need. Camden County College is happy to help our students in need. Through donations from our college community of students/staff/faculty and in our surrounding communities, we are proud to offer a wide assortment of diverse non-perishable foods and food ingredients. With support, we would love to include fresh fruits, vegetables, and other items such as honey, and dairy products to our college students in need. We also need toiletries, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene products as these items are not typically donated but are widely requested by our student pantry guests.

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
