In 1984, Branson area churches and community
leaders formed Christian Action Ministries, better
known as CAM, to serve as the local food pantry
outreach.
Since that time the CAM's ministry has continued to
help tackle the issue of food insecurity in Taney
County. Between its Branson Pantry, Forsyth Pantry
and mobile distribution to eastern Taney County,
more than 38,000 people experiencing crisis received
the gift of food last year.
Our Mission:
to provide caring assistance, in Christ’s name,
to people experiencing temporary crisis.
Our Vision:
to help people obtain the
basic resources of food;
to encourage selfsufficiency
and
independence, and bring
together the caring
communities--religious,
business, and individual--
for meeting these needs.
