Columbia County Cares is a food pantry located in Appling, GA. We provide groceries free of charge to area families in need. We serve approximately 150-200 families each month. We provide families with food, health and comfort items each month. Our families love to receive fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, can goods, dairy products, and toiletries.

From the Listing

We are open on Wednesday and Thursday, 9:30-2:00 PM. Donors can drop off anytime during these hours. Donors can drive around back of building and drop off at warehouse door. One of our volunteers will meet them at the car and unload items. No need to call before you come.

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
