Our programs help cinquer food insecurities in pur environment with children that we serve and also the community, as we have dine so for years. We have operated for over a decade, 2 afterschool and weekend s.t.e.m. programs for children in our rural and diverse city community. Our P.A.C.T (Parents and children together) program would appreciate toiletries and any food for the need in our program. We teach families healthy alternatives and also easy quick ways to utilize the food they have in their pantry to make a good, nutritional meal. State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
