East Coooper Community Outreach

Food, Clothing, and financial assistance for those who live or work East of the Cooper River. Also we have a medical and dental clinic that is for uninsured individuals who meet our financial guidlines in the Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties. We serve our clients M-W 10 am to 4 pm and on Thursday from 10 am - 6 pm.

When donating food please come to the donation door, and for clothing you may drop them in the bin that is located in our parking lot or you can drop them at our clothing location at 1111 Bowman Rd.

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
