FBC Alabaster Food Ministry

You may drop off non-perishables any time during office hours. Mon- Fri 8-4. We serve all of Shelby county ranging approximately 500+ a month. We serve any individual or family that lives in Shelby County, and is struggling financially with fresh produce, frozen food, including meats, breads, pastries, canned goods, and staple items. We also have free diapers through the Bundles of Hope program.

Location & Open Times

Hours are 2nd and 4th Monday drive thru only 12-2 pm We can pick up produce on the day of Food give away if needed to. We serve all of Shelby county and are currently giving food to almost 500 people monthly.

If you have non-perishable food and you would like to donate and need a pick up, please call 205-663-3531 extension 107. You also may drop off at FBCA 903 3rd Ave. NW. Alabaster AL 35007 Monday through Friday 8-3 PM. We also except monetary donations at that address.

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
