Fishes and Loaves

Fishes and Loaves reaches out to all who are in need of food. No residency nor sign-up restrictions. Clients are welcome to come each Thursday and receive one grocery bag per a 2-person household (4-person household receives 2 bags, etc.).

Although our Pantry is only open on Thursday, gardeners are welcome to donate Mon-Thurs between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
