Fondy Food Pantry is a community-based food pantry dedicated to providing nutritious food assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity in Fond du Lac County. We serve a diverse population, including low-income families, seniors, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and those experiencing homelessness. In 2024, we supported over 17,000 households, a number that continues to grow as food insecurity rises. Our Walk-In Pantry provides fresh and non-perishable food to families in need. The Food For Thought program delivers weekend food bags to up to 1,000 children weekly, ensuring they have meals outside school hours. Our Home Delivery Program serves homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities, while the Homeless Box Program provides ready-to-eat meals for those without stable housing.
We strive to provide healthy, balanced meals, so we love donations of fresh produce, proteins, and dairy products. Every contribution helps ensure families have the nourishment they need to thrive.
We can arrange for picking up the food from you if you'd like.
ProducePedia
ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
