This is a supplemental food program for those 60 and over, the disabled or having a serious illness/injury and living on a fixed income. The program is every Tuesday 9a-11a at 3322 Middlebury St in Elkhart. Yearly fee $10, weekly user fee of $1 each time used

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
