Hope House Community Fridge

Hope House is an after-school ministry in the Belton Housing Community. A few years ago, we set up a community fridge outside our building. It is open and available 24/7 for people to bring what they can and take what they need. This helps our families invest in their community and offer up what they can! The pantry is always open, so food is available for our kids, their families, our neighbors, and anyone in need.

State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
