Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners

Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP) is a human services nonprofit that strengthens our community by meeting basic needs and equipping individuals and families for ongoing stability. We delivery integrated services that address the basic needs for food, shelter, and clothing, while also connecting individuals and families to strengthening services such as affordable housing, quality childcare, and employment. Our food shelf serves almost 200 households every week who live in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities, Minnesota. The families and individuals we serve LOVE healthy fresh food! The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
