John 3:16 Mission

www.john316mission.org John 3:16 Mission serves the community in Tulsa and surrounding area. Homeless shelter downtown, Men's and Women's Recovery programs and working ranch/farm located at our Refuge location and our Family and Youth Center. Located at the Family and Youth Center is our Mission Market where families from the community can come and shop for groceries at no cost. Frozen meats, can goods, dry goods and fresh fruits and vegetables are what our families look for. We serve the Tulsa and surrounding area but we see the majority of our families coming from the North Tulsa area. We also have furniture, clothing, hygiene items, and household goods at our Mission Goods store which operates like our Mission Market.

State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
