LHENA (Lowry Hill East Neighborhood Association) Food Share

We provide two bags of free groceries to community members. One bag is fresh produce and the other is staples. You can choose your own groceries when you stop by in person. Our location is SpringHouse Ministries, 610 W. 28th Street (Lyndale Avenue South and W. 28th Street) We are open 10:30AM – 1:00PM on the 2nd Saturday and 3rd Wednesday of the month. We are often open the 4th Saturday of the month as well, but e-mail, call or text to confirm those dates. (We are closed in January). Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
