We are a local grassroots nonprofit ran by two moms who serve the community in several different ways. We have three local walk up self serve food pantries we also provide biweekly outreach where we provide neighbors with gently used clothing, shoes, hygiene, and food. We also have monthly free community pop-up closets, where we provide free clothing, head to toe for all ages and sizes provide a hot meal as well as free haircuts. We also distribute hygiene. These community closets are always focused on one group such as an adult focused closet or a kid focused closet. We are all always in need of non-perishable items but are also open to fresh food donations as well to help provide meals during our outreach.
We also partner up with the local shelters in the area and provide hygiene and any other important essential items.

ProducePedia
ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
