Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry

We are a food pantry serving the families of Avon Community School Corporation. We are available to all families with students enrolled in ACSC and school employees. We are located within Avon Intermediate School East/ West at 174 S. Avon Ave on the SW corner of US36 and State Rd. 267. We serve over 100 families weekly; each week we set up an outside area where we offer fresh foods in addition to pantry staples.

These tables are set up outside doors 20-21 on the south side of the building.

Drop off can be done on Thursdays from 4-5pm. Please email [email protected] to arrange alternate drop off times. We are open every Thursday from 5-6pm with the exception of 2 weeks of ACSC spring, fall & winter breaks, Thanksgiving Day, and first week of July.

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
