Since 1986, the Midtown Assistance Center, with the support of donors and volunteers, has helped in over 95,500 emergency situations by providing men, women, and their children with rent and utility assistance, groceries, work clothes, transportation to employment and interviews, counseling and referrals to other services.
In addition to fresh food, MAC can always use canned and non-perishable foods. Please contact us by email or phone (404.681.0470) to schedule a donation.

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
