Mission Benedict is a food AND clothing & household item pantry. We give out food boxes to about 90 families a week and there are about 40 families that come to get clothing or household items each week. We serve to anyone in the community. We have migrant workers, Russians, Ukrainians, as well as elderly and lower income families. There is not any restrictions or boundaries on who we serve. Everyone is always looking for fresh healthy food. There is always a need for toiletries and baby diapers.

Mission Benedict hands out food on Wednesday's and Friday's from 1:00 - 3:45. Donations would be appreciated by 12:00pm if possible. I may be able to pick-up donations if necessary.
ProducePedia
ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
