Since 2019 we have operated a food pantry with the mission of “Serving communities in Christ’s name.” By the grace of God and with community support the all volunteer staff are blessed to assist numerous neighbors primarily in Jefferson County, AL. We serve any family that expresses a need for assistance. An average of 470 families per month make their food choices from fresh produce, dairy, meats, and shelf-stable items. Our desire is to significantly increase the amount of fresh produce available to our neighbors in an effort to improve/prevent health conditions, improve academic performance, and decrease stress and violence.

Location & Open Times

The pantry has volunteers onsite every 3rd Saturday 1 - 4 pm, and the last 2 Thursdays 8 am - 1 pm. Please call or text if you need to deliver at a different day and time.

Please call before you come. The entrance is on the right side of the building by the garden. If needed, we can arrange to pick up the food from you but will need assistance with loading into the vehicle.

Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
