The Community Support & Nutrition Program (CSNP) serves families and individuals across Guilford County. The CSNP provides in-person Market shopping (grocery store style), online ordering & pick up, and delivery. The CSNP is open 6 days a week and serves over 1800 unduplicated families each month. Based on a health impact model, the CSNP provides as much fresh produce as possible to families in an effort to close the gap between hunger and health.

From the Listing

We are located on the campus of Definition Church, in the building directly behind the main building. We can receive donations Monday-Friday from 8am-2pm and on Saturday from 9am-11:30am.

ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!

State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
