Over-The-Rhine Kitchen

The Over-The-Rhine Kitchen, the oldest soup kitchen in Cincinnati, was established in 1976. We also operate the Walnut Hills Kitchen and the Walnut Hills Pantry, established in 1984. Annually, the Over-The-Rhine Kitchen and the Walnut Hills Kitchen serve over 180,530 meals and the Walnut Hills Pantry distributes groceries to approximately 11,924 individuals and families who are poor and homeless. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden.
