Portland Adventist Community Services

PACS is a community food pantry that is open to anyone whose income is less than 300% of the federal line. We love to give fresh fruits and vegetables to our clients. Each family receives a box of fresh produce and a box of shelf stable food items and bread. Donations of food are gladly accepted between 7 am and 2 pm Monday through Friday. People may come to get food between 9 am and 11 am Monday through Friday and between 5 pm and 7 pm on the first Thursday night of the month.

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
