The Food Distribution Program provides healthy, nutritious foods to low-income households, including the elderly, FREE OF CHARGE to families residing in the city of Wilmington, and surrounding areas. Participants must be income eligible (based on total household income), and must pre-register for services by completing the attached Intake form. On-site intake forms will not be accepted. • Only (1) person per household is eligible to participate in the food distribution program per 30 days. • Only (1) household can participate 3 times in a 6 month time frame. This includes other sites. • Only Delaware residents may participate. • NO PROXY SERVICES ALLOWED Distribution Dates and Times Food Distributions dates and times will be announced. Delivery services are not available. Each participant will receive at least 70lbs of food. Once participants have checked out, they cannot return to the shopping area. Participants must bring a valid Delaware photo I.D. with the address that matches the address on the Intake form. If the photo I.D. has an incorrect address, the participant must bring a current utility bill in their name, along with photo I.D. *Distribution Dates are subject to change based on community need and food pantry inventories. Clients and Referrals We will obtain basic information about our clients and their food needs for record keeping and statistical purposes only. We offer assistance to self-referrals, walk-in clients, and/or further screening referrals from other agencies. The undersigned client certifies that the information/answers provided are complete and true. You further agree to the following: • You understand that this food pantry is to be used as an emergency resource only and is meant to supplement additional assistance or resources you may receive. • Food is provided on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis and I relinquish this Food Pantry of all liability of any nature whatsoever and accept the food “AS IS” and at my own risk. • There is no guarantee to the amount or type of food product given. • You will not sell the food or non-food products or exchange/barter food or nonfood products for services. • Inappropriate behavior such as profanity, verbal abuse of staff or any other disruptive behavior is prohibited. Any such behavior may result in the suspension or termination of your privileges at this food pantry.

Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
