SON Ministries

S.O.N. (Serving Our Neighbors) Ministries is an ecumenically and community supported food pantry. S.O.N. Ministries was established in 1941 to provide food items, toiletries, and some cleaning supplies to families who are struggling.

Our Food Pantry serves the Northwest Local School District and the North College Hill School District (west of Hamilton Ave.) Please bring a photo ID and proof of residency dated within 30 days of your visit.

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
