South Corvallis Food Bank

We are a shopping style food pantry with a good selection of food, including refrigerated, frozen and fresh produce. We currently serve over 400 households a month (duplicated, shoppers are welcome to come for food once per week). We welcome donations of fresh produce from your garden as well as shelf stable items. We are always in need of gluten free foods. We also usually need condiments, hearty soups, personal care and household items such as toothpaste and laundry detergent as well as feminine hygiene items. For a current list of our most urgent needs, visit our website,

From the Listing

Donations can be dropped off Mondays noon - 3pm, Wednesdays noon-3pm, Thursdays 4pm-7pm and Saturdays 9am-noon. When possible, bring produce donations during the first hour so it can go out that same day.

ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!

State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
