Our pantry is open every Friday EXCEPT the Fifth Friday. We distribute to 250 guest each week. Our food comes from rthe Greater Chicago Food Depository. We need sugar 3or 5lbs bags,corn meal 3 or 5 lbs,flour 3or5lbs. cooking oil,lots of fresh or frozen veggies.

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
