Tender Mercies is a non-profit food bank located in Mercer County, West Virginia. We service the Princeton, WV area, basically anyone with a 24740 or 24739 area code as a home address. Families that are on SNAP are automatically eligible for food, while non-SNAP homes are based on income and household size for eligibility. Our Main focus is food for the community, but we do share toiletries and personal hygiene items when available. We serve on average 600 homes a month, around 1,600 individuals in those homes monthly.
