The Beloved Community Food Pantry

The Beloved Community Food Pantry was established eight years ago, in the Pittsburg Community within those eight years we have developed a Day Shelter, we provide 30 pound boxes of food every Sunday between 12:30-2:30pm, we partner with The Atlanta Food Bank, Concrete Jungle as well as Kroger, we average 140 boxes of food distribution every Sunday, within the Day Shelter we provide personal hygiene kits upon request. We are in need of fresh produce based on the demographics changes more guest are looking for vegetarian type meals.

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
