The Hub Mini Market is a food pantry initiative designed to serve families in the Far Northeast region, helping to address basic and immediate needs like food insecurity. As part of the Denver Public Schools Community Hubs, which operate across six regions in Denver, this market supports both DPS families and the broader community. In addition to food assistance, we offer a wide range of services such as benefits support, financial literacy classes, and adult education programs like ESL and GED courses, all provided at no cost to families. We LOVE healthy fresh food and cultural relevant ingredietns for our families. WE would like to distribute protein, fresh produces, dairy and more to our participants.

People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
