We recommend calling or emailing the pantry ahead of time to be sure their days/hours of operation have not changed.

The Just One Project

We are a food pantry that offers a drive thru line that hands out TEFAP foods from Three Square as well as donations that we receive from community partners. We also have 5 no cost markets for families and seniors that are set up so that clients are empowered to chose their own grocery needs based on what their families prefer. Some items in the no cost market are purchased through grants and sponsorships, and some items are donated from our community partners. We also provide household essentials when we have them. One of the markets is in the Clark County School District resource centers and caters to a wide range of refugees and immigrants.

ProducePedia

ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!

State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
