We recommend calling or emailing the pantry ahead of time to be sure their days/hours of operation have not changed.

The Life Center / The Fathers House Church

The Life Center is a food pantry and clothing closet. We also try to include H&B items, and household cleaning supplies;ies when possible. We document an average of 500 families a month. we record under 18, 18-60, and over 60. As far as needs its seems like the budget that's needed for paper supplies is always increasing. We have recently been trying to focus more on heathy eating vs the pastries etc. more fruits and vegetables.

State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
