The Lion’s Share Food Pantry

We are a community food pantry located at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, serving around 80 households weekly. We offer a client-choice pantry, where clients are able to make their own food selections. Our clients range from singles to multi-generational families, and we offer food to all those in need, regardless of any other status. We strive to provide healthy options, especially fresh produce, which is very popular with our clients. Other donations, such as canned goods and toiletries, are also appreciated.

State Cooperative Extension Web Sites

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
