The Outreach Connection is a food pantry with a focus on serving those in Hunterdon and Warren counties. We service around 500 people every month, but due to the prices rising, our numbers of families to visit each month are rising as well. Our over 2000 sq. foot food pantry is focused on providing the best dignity based experience we can for our families. Our pantry method is client choice, which means families are giving shopping lists and carts and they shop our pantry to pick out the items they need for their families on their own. We offer refrigerated, frozen, bakery, produce, non-perishable food, hygiene, and cleaning items. We also offer pet food depending on availability.

ProducePedia
ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
