Topeka Rescue mission

We distribute food bags twiced a week for any who are in need. We do not ask for income verification simply sign up. Families can come twice a month and get a full bag once a month. We currently serve roughly 100 families two days a week on Tuesdays and Thrusdays.

We are open to receive donations M-F 8-3:45 at our warehouse. We have both freezer and refrigerator space. Use the North door on the warehouse and utilize the intercom.

People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!

Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
