Women's Mentoring Network, Inc.

We distribute food on the last Thursday of each month to all of our client families. We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit that provides the food pantry as an additional service to our clients with a major focus on employment and education services. Wyteria Montague is one contact person, and the Executive Director is Lana Gifas, 203-348-3828. Thank you very much! Our Food Bank affiliation includes Foodbank of Lower Fairfield County, 461 Glenbrook Rd. , Stamford, CT 06906 203-358-8898.

The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
