We are a full wrap around afterschool and summer program. We pick the kids up afterschool bring them to our center where they are safe and have an opportunity to get help on theirs school work and/or get involved in a project in art, dance, music, sports, writing, computers, gardening, welding and the list goes on. Many of our children are at Risk and fall into the lower income groups or in split/divorce families or children of domestic violence. But many of the others are from lower/middle income groups. Our pantry is for our families and also anyone that comes in and needs some food assistance. We also give out hygiene items, diapers, and clothing. We constantly are in need of shampoo and conditioner as well as deodorant and body wash. We are here to assist in making our community more caring to all!!!!!

ProducePedia
ProducePedia is a free resource that covers the types of fresh produce that can be delivered to food pantries. Each entry includes information on color, taste, and possible uses. People unfamiliar with the vegetable or fruit will learn how to use it, and those who are familiar with it still might learn a fun fact or two!
The Cooperative Extension sites have a wealth of information for any backyard gardener. Once you go to the site (each one if very different from the others) look for a link for “homes and gardens”, “landscape”, “consumer horticulture”, etc. to find information on improving your backyard garden. Neighboring state sites may offer information your own state’s site lacks.
